Michael A Coppola

I have appeared in over 100 regional and community theater productions ranging from classic musicals such as;

Carousel, The Music Man, Chicago and 42nd Street, to more contemporary pieces such as

Jekyll & Hyde, The Producers, Spamalot and the Drowsy Chaperone.

I have also appeared in dramatic and comedic pieces such as;

Frost/Nixon, Art, God of Carnage, the Laramie Project, the Odd Couple, and Almost, Maine.

I have taken advantage of New England's regional film industry

and have done featured background work on dozens of feature films including, "Bride Wars" and "Company Men".

I have co-starred with Michael Madsen in the feature film "Gabrielle"

appeared in numerous short and independent feature films, played a lawyer on "All My Children"

and have done many industrial training videos and local/regional commercials.

My BFA in Communication from The University of Miami started my journey on the production side of the industry.

There I learned the ins and outs of "behind the camera" work, which gives me great insight when I am in front of the camera.

My training has included workshops with Los Angeles and New York based industry professionals:

 Ricki Maslar, Linda Palo Philips, Bob Lambert, Dennis LaValle and Reno Venturi.

 I  currently study with Steve Blackwood in his Master Class 2 program.

I spend many winter months in South Florida and have enjoyed working at The Delray Beach Playhouse.

I am always looking for exciting projects to further my career and stretch my creativity.
